Cozy afternoons & Chocolate cake

Because sometimes, all you need is good company, a comforting dessert, and a touch of beauty on the table.
We embraced the cozy spirit with an afternoon of baking. The scent of rich chocolate filled the air as we made a delicious homemade brownie.

Ultra-Chocolatey Brownies
What you need:
• Butter – ¾ cup (6 oz / 185 g), plus more for greasing the pan
• Unsweetened chocolate – 6 oz (185 g), coarsely chopped
• Large eggs – 3
• Sugar – 1¾ cups (14 oz / 440 g)
• Salt – ¼ teaspoon
• Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons
• All-purpose flour – 1 cup (5 oz / 155 g), plus more for dusting
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and chocolate
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter and flour an 8-inch (20 cm) square pan. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over medium heat, stirring often, until smooth. Set aside to cool.
2. Mix the ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla until blended. Whisk in the chocolate mixture. Add the flour and whisk slowly until just blended, with no lumps.
3. Bake the brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a rubber spatula. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Be careful not to overbake. Transfer to a wire rack to cool, then cut into 16 squares.
Enjoy at room temperature with a warm drink and a beautiful La Soufflerie glass by your side.
