Wholesale Terms & Conditions

ARTICLE 1 – General information

The company S&V Nobile SAS, 26 rue Lecourbe, 75015 Paris (French Siren No. SIREN/SIRET: 899 038 673 00013) and represented by manager Valentina Nobile, sells La Soufflerie designed and produced items via its website: ‘ https://lasoufflerie.com ‘ (hereafter called “La Soufflerie web site”) to retail and wholesale clients. 

The present general terms dictate the methods and conditions of online and offline sales by La Soufflerie of the items listed on the La Soufflerie website and its wholesale order form excel sheet.

All orders made by a CLIENT via the La Soufflerie website or wholesale order form excel sheet imply that the general terms of sale herewith have been completely and totally agreed upon, with the exception of any other documents produced by La Soufflerie.

The CLIENT consequently recognizes that any conditions contrary to the agreement, unless expressly accepted by La Soufflerie, regardless of when they were brought to the latter’s attention, do not apply.

ARTICLE 2 – General product information

The La Soufflerie web site and online product catalogue provides a description of the products for sale, allowing the potential buyer to understand the main characteristics of any given product before making a final sale, in accordance with Article L.111-1 of the French Consumer Code.

The La Soufflerie liability will not be invoked in the event of error in the text description. It should also be noted the photographs are not of a contractual nature.

ARTICLE 3 – Order process / Acceptance of the offer

3.1 Before placing an order, it is the responsibility of the CLIENT to review the general terms of sale, as presented on the La Soufflerie web site and separate documents provided by La Soufflerie to the CLIENT. 

3.2 After putting the desired objects in his/her shopping basket, the CLIENT will be directed to an on-line or off-line order form, including a request for necessary contact information, namely: first and last name, mailing address, delivery address, e-mail address, etc. 

3.3 The CLIENT order will be processed only after the CLIENT has confirmed and paid a deposit of 50% for the order and sent La Soufflerie proof of payment.

3.4 The sale will be considered final only after the CLIENT has confirmed and paid the remaining balance including shipping fees.

3.5 A CLIENT order will be shipped only after the remaining balance has been received by La Soufflerie. 

3.6 An order which has not been confirmed and paid within 10 days will be cancelled and a 15% cancellation fee will be applied. 

3.7 La Soufflerie products are to be sold in the CLIENT’s brick and mortar shop and can be pushed on its online shop as long as they match La Soufflerie retail prices as suggested in the wholesale order form excel sheet. La Soufflerie products cannot under any circumstance, be sold on 3rd party web sites.

La Soufflerie reserves the right to cancel any order made by a CLIENT with whom there is a payment dispute from a previous order or if the above conditions stated in article 3.7 are not respected.

The buyer is bound by the data provided when the order was placed.


4.1 The selling price of the articles chosen by the CLIENT are listed on the La Soufflerie website and the wholesale order form excel sheet provided by La Souflerie.

Prices are in Euros. They do not include shipping charges. 

The price indicated at the time of the confirmed order is the final price.

The selling price of the articles on the La Soufflerie web site and the wholesale order form excel sheet is subject to change at any time, for any reason.

4.2 Shipping charges are calculated once an order is ready based on its volume and weight.

4.3 The corresponding invoice is available online, on the Customer page of the web site. It is also sent by email to the CLIENT once the order is ready to leave the La Soufflerie studio.


5.1 Payment transactions are carried out via bank wire, Stripe, Square, or PayPal upon special requests, AND ARE SUBJECT TO SERVICE CHARGES. 

5.2 The CLIENT’S confirmed order will be considered valid only after the bank payment center has issued its approval. In the case of a bank’s refusal, the order will be automatically put on hold, and the CLIENT will be informed by e-mail.


6.1 Products advertised on the La Soufflerie web site and the wholesale order form excel sheet are available while stock lasts. No back orders will be accepted.

6.2 All orders are systematically confirmed by e-mail, and shipping details provided. 

Estimated shipping times are not guaranteed and can vary according to destination. La Soufflerie is not responsible in case of late delivery.

However, if 30 days after the delivery time indicated the product has not been delivered, for any reason other than force majeure, the sale may be cancelled, and the Buyer may obtain full refund, excluding all other indemnities or damages.


7.1 The CLIENT has a retraction period of 14 working days upon reception of his/her order.

7.2 The product/s must be returned in perfect condition, with all original packaging, accessories, instructions and paperwork to:

7.3 La Soufflerie will reimburse the CLIENT. However, the return-shipping fee is at the CLIENT’s charge. 

7.4 If the delivered article is defective, La Soufflerie will issue the CLIENT with a credit note valid for 6 months.


8.1 The CLIENT’s personal information will remain confidential, and only be used within the framework of the order and subsequent follow-up. 

8.2 According to the Law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 concerning data processing, data files and individual liberties, modified by the Law of August 6, 2004, the CLIENT has the right to access, modify, correct and suppress his/her personal information.

8.3 La Soufflerie uses “cookies” to accelerate access to the web site (by bypassing verification of the company’s client database).

8.4 A “cookie” is a small computer application sent by La Soufflerie to your computer, that doesn’t allow you to be identified. 

8.5 The “cookie” only records information concerning your visits to the La Soufflerie web site (which pages were visited, and when), information that can be read upon future visits to the La Soufflerie web site. 

8.6 In this case, it contains the information submitted by the CLIENT on the La Soufflerie online order form. This way, the CLIENT won’t have to fill out the form again on his/her next visit to the web site. The information is then conserved in the La Soufflerie database. 

8.7 The CLIENT can deactivate “cookies” or remove them from his/her computer, by configuring his/her navigator. This may result in slower or incomplete access to the La Soufflerie web site.


All the designs and products presented on the La Soufflerie website, as well as any text, comments, works, illustrations, and images figuring on the La Soufflerie website, are protected by current regulatory laws concerning copyright, design, models, and patents worldwide.

This information therefore cannot be modified, copied, sent, forwarded, or distributed in any format, be it content from the pages of the La Soufflerie website, including the configuration files, unless expressly authorized by La Soufflerie.

Any unauthorized use of the La Soufflerie web site and/ or its content will be considered forgery and punishable by the legal provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code.


10.1 La Soufflerie is not responsible for cancelled or incorrect orders due to force majeure or external causes. 

10.2 The designs and products available on the web site La Soufflerie and the wholesale order form excel sheet are in compliance with current French legislation. 

La Soufflerie cannot be held responsible for the non-respect of legislation in the case of a delivery outside France. 

10.3 The buyer is solely responsible for the choice and purchase of any given product.

La Soufflerie is not responsible for the impossibility to use the purchased product for whatever reason and is without prejudice to Articles 7 and 10.5 herewith. 

10.4 La Soufflerie cannot be held responsible for : the malfunction of the La Soufflerie website and/or the applications used on or obtained from the La Soufflerie website; the loss of data or services resulting in a delay, failure to provide totally or partially, disruptions in service and any imprecision, quality or nature of information obtained by its services, consequences arising from that, or any damage resulting from a virus transmitted by a server; fees, loss of profit, or indirect loss brought on the use of the La Soufflerie website by a CLIENT, or the impossibility for a CLIENT to access the website.

10.5 The CLIENT may benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty for hidden faults for products L211-1 à L211-12 of the French Consumer Code and 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code.

10.6 The paid invoice must be presented in order to take advantage of either of these guarantees.


11.1 The La Soufflerie website may be linked to or from other sites, managed by third-party partners, within the framework of affiliate programs. 

11.2 In no way does La Soufflerie control the information, products or services offered via these other sites. 

11.3 La Soufflerie is not responsible for the offers made by the aforementioned third-party partners and does not participate in any offers, transactions, sales, deliveries or payment of goods and services. 

11.4 The clauses, general terms, and guarantees related to these offers must be renowned to be agreed upon by the CLIENT and the third-party. 

11.5 La Soufflerie has no responsibility or obligation concerning all or part of any such offer, transaction, sale, correspondence or participation.


The present contract is subject to French law.

Candle care

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/2-cm in length. This allows the candle to burn more slowly and also avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass.

Every time you burn your La Soufflerie candle, allow it to burn at least until the whole top of the candle is liquid. This will help your candle burn more evenly for each burning session.

After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.
When using your candlestick holder, do not let the flame touch the glass. Blow the candle out once it gets close to the candle stick holder. Do not place your candle on a cool surface like marble. If the bottom of the hot candle comes in contact with a cold material, the glass may crack.

Do not burn your candle all the way down. Leave at least 1/2-cm of wax in the container to avoid cracking the bottom.Once you have finished burning your candle, hand wash with warm water and soap until the dried wax melts away. You now have a new La Soufflerie piece to use!

Cleaning care

All plaster and terracotta pieces are not suitable for use with water. You can dust each piece with a dry cloth.

General information

These are entirely made by hand and each creation is unique. Therefore, there may be a slight variation in color, texture, and size between each piece. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand. This is the beauty of handmade.

Cleaning care

We do recommend handwashing as much as possible to avoid scratches from the dishwasher and to keep the glass sparkling. But, know that our glassware is dishwasher resistant and can be cleaned in the dishwasher

Colored glass

Pigmented glass is mixed into the furnace during the glassblowing. This means that the glass itself is colored instead of painted. Our glass is durable and no changes or fading occur with continued use over time.

Delivery information

Your order will be processed between 7 and 10 business days. 

Each piece is hand washed and individually, wrapped and packed with recycled materials by our team. 

Your package will include one small, La Soufflerie, cotton gift bag.

Certain items may take longer to be delivered. Please allow 2 to 3 extra weeks for delivery for Plaster products, Lamps, Candles, and Wood, these products are made to order.

If your order is placed during the weekend or on a holiday, we will begin processing it the following business day.

The Nature of Handmade

Due to the hand made nature of our products each piece may differ in size, shape and color.

If you would like to complete an already existing set of glassware, please make sure you send us a picture of the glasses so that we can match the set as close as possible to the ones you have.
