Cocktails. Sunshine. Vibes.

Pool Party Season: La Soufflerie Style

Three glasses, three ways to say cheers to summer. the vibrant Sunrise, the generous Sucrière, and the sculptural Angelo.

Let’s be honest — the best summer days are the ones that don’t feel planned at all. You know the kind: music humming in the background, a cocktail sweating in your hand, the sun softening everything it touches. Time doesn’t quite exist. That’s the mood we chase at La Soufflerie.

We don’t throw pool parties. We curate them — one sunbeam, one cocktail, one glass-clink at a time.

Forget the inflatable chaos and neon overload. This is poolside leisure, reimagined. Think elegant glassware glinting in the sunlight. Think low tables topped with bowls of citrus slices, ice cubes glittering like jewelry. Think floaties — yes — but not the ones from the supermarket. Ours are pastel, oversized, photogenic. There might be a flamingo, but she’s classy.

As the heat builds, the drinks come out. One of our favorites? The Soufflerie Spritz. A twist on the classic: hibiscus-infused syrup, chilled prosecco, fresh mint, a twist of grapefruit zest. It’s vibrant, floral, and surprisingly refreshing — the kind of cocktail that makes you close your eyes after the first sip. Serve it in hand-blown glass and suddenly you’ve elevated a moment into a memory.

You’ll want food, of course. But this isn’t a sit-down affair. It’s a grazing kind of day. Picture small plates meant to be shared — ceviche with mango and lime, feta-melon skewers, flaky puff-pastry tartlets with tomato and basil. Light, colorful, delicious. Designed to be eaten with one hand, drink in the other, toes dipped in the pool.

The playlist is never too loud. It floats. Lo-fi beats. Bossa nova. A hint of disco. Tracks that make people sway without realizing.

And then there are the visuals — yours. The way the light hits the water. The reflections on your cocktail glass. Guests in oversized sunglasses and linen shirts, laughing with their feet in the water. A straw hat forgotten on a lounger. That kind of effortless detail? That’s what we live for.

So whether you’re hosting five friends or fifty, whether you have a pool or just the fantasy of one — let us set the scene. We’ll bring the glassware, the glow, the garnish. You bring your swimsuit and your best “I just got back from the Riviera” energy.

This is summer with La Soufflerie.

No stress. Just sunshine.

Candle care

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/2-cm in length. This allows the candle to burn more slowly and also avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass.

Every time you burn your La Soufflerie candle, allow it to burn at least until the whole top of the candle is liquid. This will help your candle burn more evenly for each burning session.

After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.
When using your candlestick holder, do not let the flame touch the glass. Blow the candle out once it gets close to the candle stick holder. Do not place your candle on a cool surface like marble. If the bottom of the hot candle comes in contact with a cold material, the glass may crack.

Do not burn your candle all the way down. Leave at least 1/2-cm of wax in the container to avoid cracking the bottom.Once you have finished burning your candle, hand wash with warm water and soap until the dried wax melts away. You now have a new La Soufflerie piece to use!

Cleaning care

All plaster and terracotta pieces are not suitable for use with water. You can dust each piece with a dry cloth.

General information

Due to the handmade nature of this item, there will be variations in design and size, as well as slight imperfections, possibly in the form of air bubbles, black specks, pontil and or hand tooling marks, glass or color pattern irregularities; these imperfections are an attribute of handmade craftsmanship and one of the many reasons we love it.

These are entirely made by hand and each creation is unique. Therefore, there may be a slight variation in color, texture, and size between each piece (approximately 1cm-2cm from piece to piece). On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand. This is the beauty of handmade.

Cleaning care

We do recommend handwashing as much as possible to avoid scratches from the dishwasher and to keep the glass sparkling. But, know that our glassware is dishwasher resistant and can be cleaned in the dishwasher

Colored glass

Pigmented glass is mixed into the furnace during the glassblowing. This means that the glass itself is colored instead of painted. Our glass is durable and no changes or fading occur with continued use over time.
